Yesterday, Wendy was putting on her impossibly small apron to "help" me cook. After she got it on, she said to me, "If I ever meet a Midget who doesn't have an apron, I will give her mine." Now isn't that thoughtful? Where did she hear about Midgets, and what made her think about them at that moment? I would love to take a peek inside her head, as I'm sure some of her comments aren't as random as I think, but rather fully thought out and logical. Right?
Hmmm... where DID she hear about midgets? A fascinating question, once we're all done laughing. Also, I don't think "midget" is P.C. - and also again, why did you capitalize it? I'm having fun with this post!
ReplyDeleteI can just see this title right next to "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie..."
Hee-hee. The security word I was given to publish my comment was "unics". Is that an alternate spelling to "Unix" - the old computer language? Or "eunuchs?" - which is the next word I expect Wendy to use freely.
ReplyDeleteI actually went back and forth on the capitalization issue. Not sure why I went with it. Maybe I thought it would make the name less offensive. Or maybe I chose randomly. Hopefully I don't find a band of angry small people on my doorstep demanding aprons and respect.
ReplyDeleteYou are hilarious.
